Additional Required Training

In addition to the EMDR Therapy basic Training course described above, all participants are required to attend a 3-lecture series on treating complex trauma with EMDR therapy by Kathleen Martin in January, 2026. A deep discount will be offered to EMDR Therapy Basic Training attendees of $295 (USD). The dates for these lectures are:

Lecture 1: January 15, 2026 12 p.m. - 4 p.m. EST

Lecture 2: January 16, 2026 12 p.m. - 4 p.m. EST

Lecture 3: January 17, 2026 12 p.m. - 4 p.m. EST

These lectures will be online, 4 hours each, and will be recorded. If you cant attend the live lectures, you will have 30 days to watch the recordings. There is not enough time in the basic training to include this body of knowledge so it is being offered as additional required training to use EMDR therapy with clients with PTSD and complex trauma. This body of knowledge and skill is imperative for all therapists who treat clients with trauma-related disorders. Please go to www.kmccs.com for more details on this webinar series.

Payment for this additional required training will be handled separately from the payment for the EMDR Therapy Basic Training Course.

Cost of the Basic Training

$2200 (USD) until August 15, 2025

After August 15, 2025 the cost increases to $2700 (USD)

A 50% discount is granted to anyone who has previously completed an EMDRIA approved EMDR Therapy Basic

Training. The certificate of completion of the previous training is required upon registration. This

discounted rate of $1100 (USD) is effective until August 15, 2025. After August 15, 2025, this discount

will no longer be available.

Either full payment or a deposit of $1100 USD is required to reserve your space in the training. If you need a payment installment plan, please contact Kathleen Martin. Payment can be made online at time of registration through PayPal or by check or money order in US funds through the land mail system.

Please note: the tuition cost includes the cost of the 10 hours of required case consultation.

Location

This training will occur online through Zoom. You will need a device (phone is not recommend) to connect to the video conferencing system with enough bandwidth to maintain a good connection. You will also need privacy to maintain confidentiality. A head set with a microphone is highly recommended as it provides better incoming and outgoing sound and prevents others in your environment to hear the confidential information. A wired headset is preferable over a Bluetooth headset due to intermittent loss of Bluetooth connections.

Refund Policy and Grievances

A full refund will be given up to 50 days prior to the start of the training minus a $200 processing fee. After that, a full refund minus a $300 processing fee will be given if the space can be filled by someone on the waiting list. Requests for refunds must be in writing. Funds may be transferred to another EMDR therapy basic training by Kathleen Martin if available.

All grievances must be in writing to Deb Perkowski, Organizational Assistant to Kathleen Martin, at debperkassistant@gmail.com. Grievances will be replied to within 10 business days.

Registration

NOTE: After payment you must fill in the regisration form to complete your registration!

PayPal should send you to the registration form once you complete payment. If it does not, you may go directly to the form by clicking on this link.
